7 Weeks and Counting!

So today we visited Dr. Phillips for a routine checkup and a sonogram!

Say hello to our little Peanut!

In case you're wondering, the yolk sac is the blob to the left, and Peanut is the blob to the right (he/she is the shape of Cuba)

According to their fancy schmancy machine, he/she is 7 weeks along. That's about where we think we are.

If it weren't wild enough to see the baby, we also got to hear the heartbeat (right click to download)! Peanut is kicking along at a steady 148 beats per minute, which we're told is pretty good.
