This is going to get old...

Since we may not know the sex of the baby till birth, I'm making a command decision to refer to little Peanut as a "he". I'm already tired of this "he/she" business.

No, it's not because I'm sexist, or because I want a boy. It's because "he" has one less letter than "she". I may have to type it a couple of hundred times in the next 6 months.

So there.

Hah! I'm the first to post a comment ever! Go figure...

I agree with your decision to call your baby "he." We do the same. Once upon a time "he" was all-inclusive. Now people are ridiculous.

When people ask us "what are you having?" my response is always, "A baby."

I love the look on their faces, but it really gets my point across. It doesn't matter if we are having a boy or a girl, it's our baby either way, and just as loved, and just as valued.
