Lucy is such a doll...

So we were all just hanging out at Nana Kay's house, chatting about how little Lucy was when Jenny mentioned that her old Cabbage Patch Kids were still upstairs. Add a pile of dolls, a few bored adults and you get...

Yep, she sure is little. She didn't seem to mind being laid next to fake kids with abnormally thick hair that don't blink, so maybe she'll be a little more social in her formative years than her dad was.

Heck, she seemed quite content. She was completely still, even as we were all howling with laughter. And she didn't budge one bit when somebody mentioned that she was probably small enough to fit into one of their wee little outfits.

In what will probably be especially impressive evidence in our appointment with the Georgia Division of Family and Child Services, we decided to humiliate our child on the internet by taking this photo:

These pictures will come in especially handy when she's up for a Nobel Prize, or perhaps when she's referred to as "Senator Lucy Conway (R-GA)". Who knows, maybe these pictures will help her find a good man.

There was also a cute little corduroy vest with horseshoes on it, but we couldn't get it on her. Real babies don't bend like Cabbage Patch Kids.

For some strange reason Cabbage Patch Kids don't come from the farm packing heat, so we decided to fill her holsters with baby lotion. And don't worry, we washed those 20 year old clothes before we filled them with our newborn.
