A weekend of firsts

What a busy weekend for our little girl!

It all started off with her first ever bottle feeding. We're giving it a go to see how she takes to pumped milk. All signs point to her eating everything in her path, regardless of the packaging. This is a good sign. Daddy even fed her while mommy was sleeping!

We then took her out for her first day of running errands. Yes, you do get a few strange looks when you take a picture of your baby at the checkout line at Target.

This led to Daddy's first ever diaper change in the back of the car. Don't worry, we didn't take a picture. If we had, you'd be looking at it.

If all this excitement weren't enough, today we went to Mass for the first time! Lucy was a total doll and slept through the whole thing. Our pastor, Father Jim, was the priest and he made a big deal about Lucy's first ever Mass in front of the congregation. He's a great priest and hopefully he'll be able to do Lucy's baptism.

As a special weekend edition bonus, here are two great shots of Lucy, including her first visit to Nana Kay and Papa Tom's house.

Lucy's life is & will definitely be an adventure for the whole family and I doubt there will ever be a baby more loved....

I'm so excited about meeting Lucy tomorrow! She is so tiny and precious.

You are a dork for photographing her at Target. But that's ok -- Matt took a picture of Alister's blonde patch of hair. We all do dumb things with cameras when we have small children.

She has grown already :)

I love that you are taking pictures of all of her firsts. She is adorable and SO alert! She needs to hurry up and grow so she can play with Syd and Meg.

Thanks for sharing with us all.

Aughhh no biting here please, I know you love her, but you'll have to find another way to show your affection to little Lucy.

She's delicate, so kissing and hugging is more preferable!
