Snow Day!

Lucy got her first ever snow day last weekend!

This shot gives you a good idea of how much snow we got. This is a LOT of snow for Georgia, and it provides a nice background for the maiden voyage of my new grill (more on that in a future post).

Here's Lucy and I ready to hit the powder (er, slush). She was awestruck by the scene outside, even if she really had no idea why.

Unfortunately our outing didn't last too long. Even layered like an onion, Lucy got a little too cold and wet. She spent most of the time outside giving me snow to make a snowball to throw at Mommy. I didn't have the guts, so I took my snowgression out on the house.

Maybe she'll enjoy it more when she's older, or when we get her warmer clothes...
