In other news...

You may have noticed that our posting has been a little sporadic, with several posts coming weeks after the events that inspired them. We've been pretty busy lately, and I thought I'd share why...

Jenny and I have put our house up on the market! That's right, as soon as our condo sells we'll be moving to larger digs. We've had regular bites over the last month and we're hopefull that it'll sell soon. Of course, we're also expecting this process to take months. Rest assured, when we finally do settle into our new home we'll have one heck of a housewarming party!

I've also left my job at Enginuity Works and taken a position at a new company. I'm now a Principal Engineer with LifeSync Corporation. They design and manufacture wireless vital sign communication equipment. The job is on Georgia Tech's campus just a stone's throw away from my old fraternity house. Campus certainly has changed in the last 7 years!

We were delighted to host our respective families on the occasion of Lucy's baptism two weeks ago. I'd expand more, but that event deserves it's own post. Stay tuned.

In other family news, Lucy has spontaneously developed the ability to hold herself up in the seated position. This may not sound like much, but it means we can put her in a high chair for short periods of time. That's a big deal when we eat out like we did yesterday for our Mother's Day brunch (which was delicious). Jenny shot this video of her in the first few days of learning to keep herself heads-up.

Yeah for Lucy! Let me tell you -- no matter where you put pillows behind her, she will fall just to the side of them and smack the floor. So keep her on carpet for a while.

What did Miss Lucy do right after she fell? What happened in those 60 seconds. I mean, did she try to flip over ? When filming her, please keep in mind that we don't wanna miss out on these little, tiny issues. We all want the full pic.
Comprende ?
Go Lucy. Go !

The simple answer is that she screamed her head off. Jenny had to put down the camera to restore balance to the force.
