Visiting YaYa and YoYo

The family ventured out Memorial Day weekend to visit YaYa and YoYo in South Carolina. Lucy is turning into quite a social little girl. We've been going to all kinds of parties recently, and Lucy seems to enjoy meeting new people and being in new places.

YaYa and YoYo took care of Lucy, while Jenny and I went to the "Freedom Aloft" balloon festival in Simpsonville, SC. Jenny got her funnel cake fix (gross), and I got to ooh and ahh over all the balloons (nerd stuff). We finished off the night by seeing Natasha Bedingfield/Huey Lewis and the News in concert at the park. I know, we're dorks.

It's a tradition in our family that each baby gets a little rocker with his or her name on it when they turn six months old. Here's a shot of my Dad with Lucy and his handywork. Thanks YoYo!
